An introduction to iSupplier

The introduction of this new tool by Oracle will deliver a significant number of improvements and opportunities for both BT and its Suppliers. Our Buyers world-wide use this tool when completing Sourcing activities with suppliers (unless exceptions apply).

Some of the benefits of this tool are:

A single, Electronic Interface for Sourcing Activities (ITT, RFI, RFQ and Auctions etc);
A single, Electronic Interface for Orders;
A single, Electronic Interface for Invoice submission;
And a self-service information tool.

This single interface will be the iSupplier Portal, part of our new Oracle eBusiness suite application.

This will mean that we will have:

Better re-use of Supplier Information;
A Global Platform for all Sourcing activities;
A centralised Control of Supplier Details to improve efficiency;
Better control of Catalogue Content;
Full visibility of Sourcing documents, Purchase Orders, Invoices & Payment details.
