Current & Forthcoming Requirements
BT Procurement will be looking to conduct a review of the management consultancy market within Q3/Q4 of 2007/08. From such a review, both generalist and specialist companies will be invited to tender for various categories of management consultancy. The aim is to produce pan-BT preferred framework supplier lists for all categories of management consultancy. Gateway criteria may be used to shortlist potential suppliers invited to tender although such details would be communicated to suppliers accordingly. If you are interested, please drop an email to the contact point, outlining your company's specific capability areas of management consultancy.
Do's and Don'ts of supplying consultancy to BT:
Please do involve procurement as soon as possible whenever you are approached by a BT employee to help scope requirements or to submit a bid. This will help reduce the likelihood of projects being declined later on by a non-involved procurement
Please do provide a clear proposal outlining how you would go about delivering a project, any BT input that is required, agreed deliverables as well as providing a clear breakdown of day rates, grades being used and duration.
Please do contact us in regard to your company's unique selling points. We want to hear about what differentiates you as a consultancy supplier rather than a generic company overview
Please do keep receipts for all incurred expenses as it is BT Travel Policy that these are submitted by the supplier if required
Please do let us know via our contact point if you feel that you have an innovative solution that could fit into the BT context by enhancing our performance and / or improve our revenue returns.
Please do not start any work until in receipt of a valid Purchase Order as it is this that signifies commitment from BT and is against which you can invoice
Please do not agree terms and conditions with your operational contact
Please do not agree any extensions or incur any extra costs above the value of the initial agreement and purchase order. Subsequent BT approvals will need to be given and an additional purchase order raised.
