Introduction

BT Group has established a single, consolidated roster of preferred suppliers for delivery of learning pan BT. Through a competitive procurement exercise, frame call-off contracts with core training contractors have been agreed, giving BT competitive rates for open courses and bespoke design services.  These contracts underpin the 'one-BT' training portfolio and offer the services all BT LoBs use to fulfil any training requirement where an external supplier is deemed necessary to deliver training.

Details

BT's training domain is divided into a number of functional areas which are managed by Portfolio Steering Groups (PSG's).  These PSG's have the responsibility for ensuring BT's training portfolios are aligned to and capable of supporting and equipping BT's human resources to drive business strategy.  The functional areas include :

Sales/Customer facing
Leadership/management
Technical/IT
Professional

Current & Forthcoming Requirements

Currently BT has frame contracts in place with its preferred training suppliers and continues to work with the Preferred Suppliers for the term of those contracts, that is until the end of June 2007

BT is reviewing its Training requirements and use of 3rd parties to deliver this portfolio post July 2007.  If you are interested in being considered as a supplier of training to BT Group, please register your interest as outlined below.
